Remember to Ground Yourself.

Just a reminder to ground yourself. It can be done quickly and so easily throughout the day, as many times as you need to. It helps with feelings of uncertainty, stress, anxiety and more. It can be a quick refresh button. Or, it can be used as a base setting to connect with your guides or any type of meditation session. 

Here are a few ways to do it:

  1. Place your feet flat on the floor, sitting or standing. With eyes closed (or open if you feel more comfortable)  imagine roots growing out the bottom of your feet and extending deep into the earth. Imagine really feeling the earth under your feet and the roots taking hold. Then, imagine a beautiful golden light that circle you from head to toe. Open your eyes if they were closed and go on with your day. This can be done super quickly!
  2. Picture a chord (made out of anything you want) that wraps around your root chakra (at the base of your spine - a ball of red light if you’d like) and extends deep into the center of the earth. Picture it as a taught and strong chord. You can stop there, or you can then picture anything negative you would like to release, send it down the chord to the center of the earth to be transmuted to positive energy. For example: stress, anger, fear and anxiety. You can also send positive energy to the earth. For Example: strength, grace, healing, etc. All of this can be done in just a couple of minutes or for longer, whatever you determine you need.
  3. Go outside and feel the ground under your feet. Or feel the grass with your hands. Whether it’s sand, soil, grass, cement...whatever is available to you. Touch the gound with your feet or hands for a few moments to refresh and recharge you.

Always remember to ground yourself as a means of self care and connection.
